Oil Spill Response Ltd 10ft rear door & double side door offshore containers
Intermodal Innovation LLP, a UK based manufacturer of specialised containers and transport equipment has delivered a series of 10ft offshore containers, in rear door and side door designs to Oil Spill Response. They are an oil industry owned co-operative that provides preparedness and response solutions to its members on a global basis. The core business is as a Tier 3 response organisation responding to oil spill incidents 365 days a year on behalf of Shareholder members and Associate members. Oil Spill Response has offices in London, Southampton and Aberdeen within the UK, Singapore, Bahrain and Indonesia.
Since 1985, the organisation has been involved in many oil spill response incidents around the world, including all the major internationally recognised incidents such as the Exxon Valdez, the Braer, the Sea Empress, the Erika, the Prestige, and the Deepwater Horizon.
The containers will be equipped with a selection of oil spill response equipment, including oil booms on reels, recovery devices, storage barges, and dispersant application systems.
